Privacy policy
The short version
CI Deck has no servers. Your Buildkite token never leaves your device. We collect nothing.
Data CI Deck handles
To use CI Deck you provide a Buildkite API token. The token is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device, protected by your device passcode and biometrics. It is never sent anywhere except directly to Buildkite’s servers (https://api.buildkite.com) when the app fetches pipelines, builds, logs, and artifacts on your behalf.
Everything CI Deck displays — pipeline names, build statuses, job logs, artifacts, commit metadata — comes from Buildkite’s API in response to requests your device makes. CI Deck does not retain copies of this data on any server we operate, because we do not operate any servers.
Data CI Deck does not collect
- No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking
- No crash reports sent to third parties (Apple’s built-in TestFlight/App Store crash collection still applies if you opt in via iOS settings)
- No advertising identifiers
- No account creation, sign-up, or sign-in to CI Deck itself
- No personal data is requested by the app
Third parties
The only third party CI Deck communicates with is Buildkite (Buildkite’s privacy policy), and only with the scope you grant through your API token. Revoke the token from your Buildkite account at any time to immediately cut CI Deck’s access.
Children
CI Deck is a developer tool. It is not designed for or directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
